Sale Information for Birch Hollow Farm Pygmy Goats
Availability: Does and bucks are ready to go 8 weeks after birth, while wethers (neutered males) need an additional week to recover from banding, making them ready at 9 weeks.
Health and Care: All pygmy goat kids will be dis-budded, microchipped, dewormed, and will have received CD&T and Bo-Se shots.
Pricing: This spring, our prices are $480 for does and $330 for bucks or wethers.
Health Certificates: If you are out of the state of Maine, you will need a Health Certificate for traveling from our farm, which usually costs $30 per goat.
Herd Requirement: Please be mindful that pygmies are herd animals. If you do not already have goats, you will need to purchase at least two.
Reservation and Payment: Once you make your choice, we will send you a contract to sign, agreeing to a pick-up date. Return the signed contract with a non-refundable deposit of $100 per goat, payable by check or Venmo. The balance will be due at pick-up time, payable by cash or Venmo.
